President

Tim Galvin is responsible for leadership of Brexton’s core values and mission as well as management and administration of all consulting, construction management, general construction, Pre development and company operations. His project involvement includes business development, front-end project management, and helping clients set realistic goals and then assuring that project goals are met.

Tim attended Marion Technical College, Columbus State Community College and Ohio State University.  He received his Ohio real estate sales license in 1988.

Since graduating from high school, Tim has worked for The State of Ohio, Bird & Bull Engineers, Turner Construction Company and Continental Companies before co-founding Equity in 1989. Tim spent 13 years as President of Equity; building it from 2 employees with 1.5 million dollars in revenue, to nearly 40 employees with over 50 million dollars in revenue and opening offices in multiple cities. Tim incorporated Brexton in the spring of 2001, bringing over 3 decades of construction, engineering and real estate development experience to the Brexton team.   

Tim has experience with a wide range of construction and development projects throughout the United States since starting in the industry in 1973, including land development and planning, high rise structures, hospitals, historic renovations, hospitality, multi-family, retail facilities, suburban office buildings (with an emphasis on healthcare), and worship facilities.

He was appointed by Governor Strickland to serve a 4 year term on the Ohio Board of Building Standards (OBBS) through 2012, is Past President of the Ohio Associated General Contractors of America (AGC),  past Chairman of the Central Ohio (AGC), serves on the AGC Project Delivery System Committee, AGC Marketing Committee, served on many other AGC committees and projects since 1986, Ohio and Central Ohio Builders Exchange active member (BX), American Institute of Architects active associate member (AIA), Grandview Marble Cliff Area Chamber of Commerce (GMCCOC) active committee member, appointed by Mayor  Coleman to The City of Columbus Building Services Review Committee (BSRC) to help make the City more development friendly, as well as having served on the Diocesan Building Commission (DBC) for the Bishop of Columbus from 1996 to 2003.

He is a past member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), National, Ohio and Columbus Board of Realtors, Columbus Commercial Industrial Investment Realtors (CCIIR), Building Officials and Code Administrators International member (BOCA) and Columbus Chamber of Commerce (CCC).

He is an active member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, serving on the parish building committee, Third order Victory Council Knights of Columbus, St. Francis Xavier Beneficial Society, Cum Christo of Columbus, and CBMC Forum. He and his family reside in Grandview Heights, Ohio where he was an active coach in several sports for many years.


HAROLD G. COMPTON, JR.

Principal/Executive Vice President

Executive Vice President, Harold G. Compton, Jr. is responsible for all aspects of development and construction. Harold is an excellent leader in preparing documents for zoning presentations, project formulation, contract negotiation, estimating, scheduling, budget control, safety, project buyout and quality control for Brexton. His project involvement includes business development, project management, and helping clients set realistic goals and then assuring that project goals are met.

Harold attended Columbus Technical Institute and Central Ohio Technical College. He is responsible for project staffing at Brexton.

Harold Compton and Brexton President Tim Galvin have worked together for over 20 years. In 1991 Harold joined Tim as a project manager and supervised construction of a wide variety of projects ranging from $300,000 to $13,000,000. Over a half million square feet of his projects were medical facilities.

From 1987 to 1991, he worked with Tim as a project superintendent for Continental Building Systems and supervised construction of several projects including: St. Ann’s medical office building (105,000 sq. ft.); Mt. Carmel medical office building (89,000 sq. ft.).

Harold is an active member of the Central Ohio Builders Exchange, Central Ohio AGC, attends Newark Baptist Church and is an active foster parent for Licking County Children Services. He is also an active member of the YMCA of Licking County. Harold and his family reside in Granville, Ohio where he is an active community participant and coach for several organized sports teams. 


Mary Galvin

Accounting Manager

Mary is responsible for the overall accounting and coordination with our outside CPA Firm, including; BI-Weekly review job cost for accuracy and forward to Project Managers for updated estimates; completing month end closeout for all entities. Prepare all draws or invoices to customers and Submit proper documentation with draws, as required. Entering all draws/invoices into system (Accounts Receivable) and tracking for payment. Monitor Cash Balances and Cash Flow for a dozen small entities as well as Brexton. Supervise Accounts Payable. She is also responsible for handling all challenges with accounts receivable and payable inquiries.

Mary attended Ohio University for three years and graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Art. She is an active member in the Executive Women International and the Grandview Marble Cliff Chamber of Commerce.

Before coming to work for Brexton in 2007, Mary worked for Limited Brands in the Community Relations department and was responsible for tracking several thousand employees involvement and contributions for their annual United Way Campaign as well as reviewing and responding to thousands of donation requests to the Limited Brands, Inc.

Mary lives in Grandview Heights Ohio with her cat Pearl. Her Fiancé Captain Joe Beatty of the US Army is currently stationed at Fort Lewis Washington and will be joining Mary and Pearl in December as his military career unwinds.


Terry Rodeman

Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager, Terry Rodeman, is responsible for all aspects of project management and estimating. Terry’s primary responsibilities are supervising, managing, and motivating subcontractors to the successful completion of their scope of work on projects.  He is an excellent coordinator and leader in maintaining the schedule, budget control, safety, project buyout and quality control for Brexton. His project involvement includes helping clients set realistic goals and then assuring that project goals are met.  On current projects his responsibilities includes job site management, safety, daily job site documentation, preparation of subcontractor’s contracts, assisting in the design and scheduling process, and assuring client satisfaction post construction.

Terry graduated from the Ohio State University in Business Administration and Marketing.  He has spent the last 21 years in the construction industry.  For several of those years, he was a project manager/estimator for Dayton Fire Protection, helping to significantly grow their business. However, A majority of the time was in the Fire Protection industry working with Architects, Engineers, Contractors and end-users helping to write specifications and supply proper materials to contractors and end users.  He has worked with clients from product design, project commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance, as well as several USGBC, LEED projects and has completed the USACE Construction Quality Management course for Contractors.  

Terry is an active member of the Central Ohio Builders Exchange, ASPE, SFPE and attends Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.  Terry and his family reside in Grandview Heights, Ohio.


Teresa Colegrove

Contract Administrator

Contract Administrator, Teresa Colegrove, is responsible for the day to day processing of all owner contracts and change orders as well as processing all subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders.  In addition, Teresa is responsible for processing all pay applications from subcontractors, preparing draws to the owners, job cost tracking and maintaining project files.

Teresa Colegrove graduated from Jonathan Alder High School in Plain City, Ohio and is currently enrolled at Columbus State majoring in business.

Throughout her career, Teresa has worked as a contract administrator or executive assistant to engineers, contractors and manufacturers all in the construction industry.  From handling the day to day technical needs of engineers and general contractors’ issues to maintaining individual client attention and bureaucratic government offices, Teresa has demonstrated an ability to excel in any environment.  After spending several years at home with her young children, Teresa was offered an immense opportunity to get back into the workforce by bringing her years of experience and education to the Brexton team.

A member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Hilliard, Ohio, Teresa spent several years as a Sunday school teacher for St. Brendan’s early childhood faith formation program. In addition she has spent five years as a den leader for the cub scouts for the elementary school, helping teach kids of today to be tomorrow’s leaders.  Currently, Teresa assists the Darby Creek Elementary School’s “Choose to Lead” program cultivating elementary students minds by instilling citizenship, leadership and altruistic qualities in all participants.  


Paul Frair

Senior Superintendent and Safetry Director

Senior Superintendent and Safety Director, Paul Frair’s primary responsibilities include coordination and supervision all Brexton projects and subcontractors, ensuring all jobs are completed on schedule and within the budget.  In addition, Paul is responsible for organization of all daily safety meetings as well as enforcing company safety procedures. Paul is a Certified OSHA 500 Trainer and trains others in the OSHA 30 hour certification.

Paul graduated from Northridge High School in Johnstown, Ohio in 1978 with a major focus on industrial arts.

During the early years of his construction career, Paul worked as a carpenter for several custom home builders, including Compton Construction, where he began to understand the individualized needs of each client.  Paul later went to work for Fairfield, Equity, Continental Building Systems and MCR working his way up from Assistant Superintendent to Project Superintendent while frequently working for and with Harold Compton. Paul has played a pivotal role in the construction and renovation of several major projects including the River Oaks and Meridian Apartments, Orthopedic Center of Excellence and Torrington Markets.  Throughout the last 30 years, Paul has been instrumental as a project superintendent completing various project sizes and types with his hands on, down to earth and practical solution mentality to the satisfaction of both the clients and contractors. With his extensive knowledge and years of experience, Paul was approached by Harold Compton and requested that he join the Brexton Team as Senior Superintendent and Safety Director, giving him the opportunity to continue his tradition of excellence while exceeding client expectations.

Paul and his wife Jeri have three daughters and one granddaughter and attend the Northwest Bible Church in Hilliard.  He enjoys spending time traveling with his family and relaxes by fishing or playing darts.


Patrick Galvin

Assistant Project Superintendent

Assistant Project Superintendent, Patrick Galvin’s primary responsibilities are supervising, managing and motivating subcontractors to the successful completion of their scope of work on projects. His project involvement includes job site management, daily job site documentation and assuring client satisfaction post construction.

Patrick graduated from Grandview Heights High School and attended Columbus State Community College for Construction Management.

Patrick began his career as a carpenter/laborer in 2003 when he and a partner bought and completely renovated a single family house when he was a senior in high school. Then in 2004 went to work for Brexton after graduating from high school. With his mechanical skills and through hard work and perseverance was promoted to Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent.  Skilled in framing and finish carpentry along with custom woodwork and ceramic tile Patrick’s attention to detail has enabled him to focus on client satisfaction throughout the construction phase. His project experience encompasses several types of projects including new construction of healthcare facilities, renovations, retail shopping centers, multi-family residential and new office buildings. His attention to detail and motivation has made Patrick a valuable member of the Brexton team.

Patrick is currently enrolled in the 2 year Builders Exchange (BX) Certified Superintendent Program. Recently Patrick completed the RCIA and was confirmed at Our Lady of Victory in Columbus.  As an avid sportsman, outdoorsman and NRA member, in his spare time he enjoys golfing and target shooting. Patrick currently lives in Grandview Heights, Ohio and is looking forward to a successful career in the construction industry.


Blake Compton

Assistant Project Superintendent

Assistant Project Superintendent, Blake Compton’s primary responsibilities are supervising, managing, and motivating subcontractors to the successful completion of their scope of work on projects. Blake is very good at executing project scheduling, budget control, and quality control for Brexton. His project involvement includes job site management, daily job site documentation, preparation of subcontractor’s contracts, assisting in the design and scheduling process, and assuring client satisfaction post construction.

Blake attended the Ohio State University for Business Administration and Columbus State Community College for Real Estate and Construction Management.

Blake has worked in the Construction industry since early 2005, He began as a general laborer for Brexton and through his due-diligence and hard work was promoted to assistant superintendent in 2006. His project experience includes several types of projects. Such as; new construction of healthcare facilities, renovations, retail shopping centers, multi-family residential, and new office buildings. He has quickly gained the ability to fully run job sites alone and through his natural ability to lead, and communicate has become a valuable member of the Brexton team.

Blake is currently enrolled in the 2 year Builders Exchange (BX) Certified Superintendent Program. Blake is an active member of a supporters group for the Columbus Crew and play’s soccer year round on many teams. In his spare time he enjoys Frisbee golf and sports. Blake currently lives in Granville, Ohio and is looking forward to a successful career in the construction industry.
